Unveiling of Animal Resource Foundation’s (ARF) Memorial Tree

Saturday, March 13, 2010 – 1:00 P.M. stop by ARF’s Adoption Center in Chester for ARF’s dedication and unveiling of the new Memorial Tree.  Refreshments will be available.

Emily Campion of Stevensville, Maryland needed to earn her Girl Scout Gold Award by steer heading a project within the Community.   As a long time volunteer and supporter of ARF, Ms. Campion decided to plan, organize and implement a Memorial Tree for ARF’s Adoption Center.  “This tree will have a long-standing benefit for ARF as it will be a place that the community can honor and remember their beloved companions.  It will also provide much needed funds to help ARF continue with their efforts, saving and improving the lives of companion animals’ through-out the region”.  Said Susan Beall, Executive Director.

Animal Resource Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 organization.  ARF’s adoption Center located at the Kent Narrows Center, 61 Piney Narrows Road, is a half way house for dogs and cats.  Since its founding in 1999 ARF has helped thousands of cats and dogs from the danger of euthanasia.
