Healthy Living for Older Adults
The Kent Island Senior Center will be holding Healthy Living for Older Adults Classes with Chesapeake College Instructor Betty Hull emphasizing on Line Dancing. Beginner and Advanced classes will be held.
Dancing Classes offer great exercise for the mind and body. Sessions are designed specifically for seniors to improve health through education and awareness training. Topics will include a discussion on the value of physical activity and nutrition. Classes begin on Wednesday, November 3, 2010.
Chesapeake College is providing the class as part of their Continuing Education Program. Registration is limited to students age 60and over, and a $15.00 registration fee is required in advance.
The Kent Island Senior Center is a program of the Queen Anne’s County Department of Aging.

Craft Design and Production
The Kent Island Senior Center will be holding Craft Design and Production Classes with an emphasis on Ceramic Design. Chesapeake College Instructor Dora Waidner will begin Classes on Mondays at 9:00 am beginning November 1, 2010
Learn Basic Ceramic Technique with the stroke of a brush. Students will create beautiful and Functional art of their choice.
