Antietam Book Discussion at St. Michaels and Easton Libraries
On Monday, November 5, at 6:30 p.m., in the Easton library, and again on Thursday, November 8, at 2:00 p.m., in the St. Michaels library, Bill Peak will host a discussion on “Crossroads of Freedom: Antietam” by Pulitzer Prize-winner James McPherson. September 17 marked the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Antietam—the bloodiest day in U.S. history and far and away the most important battle of the Civil War to have taken place in Maryland. All library programs are free and open to the public, but patrons are asked to pre-register for these discussions. For more information or to register, please call the library at 410-822-1626.
