Author to Discuss Colonial Smugglers at Library
On Thursday, May 9, at 6:00 p.m., in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, Al Picardi will discusses the life and times of the swashbuckling colonial smugglers who helped foment the American Revolution. In his novel, “Jack’s Favorite,” Picardi tells the story of ordinary people who did extraordinary things. The year was1770 and rebellion smoldered with midnight backwater rendezvous, desperate sea chases, smuggler’s coves, cathouses, press gangs, and waterfront riots. A book signing will follow the presentation. All library programs are free and open to the public. Patrons do not need to pre-register for this program. Library to Offer Needlcraft Progam
On Monday, May 13, at 3:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will once again offer a session of its popular “Stitching Time” program. Talbot County’s Economy: Today & Tomorrow

Puppet Show: School’s Out for Summer!
