Stitching Time at the Library
On Monday, July 16, at 3:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will once again offer its popular Stitching Time program. Patrons are invited to bring projects in progress (sewing, knitting, cross-stitch, what-have-you) and stitch with a group. Limited instruction will be available for beginners. Library to Offer Children’s Weaving Program
On Wednesday, July 18, at 2:00 p.m., in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library Stephanie Corina Goddard will provide children 8 and older with an introduction to the ancient, and essential, art of weaving. All library programs are free and open to the public, but patrons are asked to pre-register their children for this program. DinoRock Puppet Show Coming to Library
On Friday, July 20, at 10:30 a.m., in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, DinoRock Productions will put on one of their famous dinosaur puppet shows. A national leader in children’s entertainment for more than 20 years, DinoRock Productions has performed for millions of children nationwide and sold over 100,000 award-winning audio recordings. Danny Diplodocus, Hack the hadrosaur from Hackensack, and their life-sized, colorful prehistoric friends are the creations of Emmy Award-Winning puppet designer Ingrid Crepeau and Parents’ Choice Magazine and American Library Association Award Winner Michele Valeri. These lovable puppet characters inhabit the magical world of DinoRock Productions—a performance group for family audiences that introduces children to the world of science through the one subject guaranteed to to excite everyone’s imagination … dinosaurs! This appearance by DinoRock Productions is made possible by the Eastern Shore Regional Library. All library programs are free and open to the public, but seating is limited, so free tickets are required to attend this performance.
