Book Discussion: Wendell Berry’s “A Place on Earth”

Peter Pan & Capt. Hook to Appear at Library

Author To Discuss New Book on Local Poet Gilbert Byron

On Thursday, February 13, at 6:00 p.m., in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, Jacques Baker will discuss his just-published book on local poet Gilbert Byron, “the Bard of the Chesapeake.”  Baker, who was a student of Byron’s at ?, grew up to become his friend and, eventually, biographer.  A book-signing will take place after the discussion.  All library programs are free and open to the public.  Patrons do not need to pre-register for this program.  For more information, call the library at 410-822-1626, or visit www.tcfl.org. St. Michaels Library to Show “White House Down”
