On Tuesday, October 25, the Upper Shore Workforce Investment Board’s Mobile One-Stop bus will be on-site at the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to assist individuals looking for work, job training, and other employment-based resources. Halloween Crafts at Easton Library

Game Day for Youth at St. Michaels Library
From 3:30 – 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 25, the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer another of its popular Game Days for children 8 and older. In addition to playing on the library’s Wii and Play Station systems, children can play traditional games like checkers and Uno. There will be age-appropriate magazines, books, and graphic novels on hand to read and check out. The library will also provide a snack. St. Michaels Library Civil War Book Discussion: “The Killer Angels”
On Thursday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m., “library guy” Bill Peak will host a discussion in the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library of Michael Shaara’s acclaimed novel, “The Killer Angels.” Often called the greatest Civil War novel ever written, “Killer Angels” tells the story of the battle of Gettysburg from the point of view of several of that engagement’s most important players.
