Sherman the Shorebird to Visit Library
On Monday, July 1, at 11:00 a.m., Sherman the Shorebird, mascot of the Delmarva Shorebirds baseball team, will visit the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library. Children are invited to come meet the bird behind the Birds and hear some great baseball stories. St. Michaels Library to Provide Free Showing of Disney’s “Brave”

At noon, on Monday, July 1, the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer a free showing of Disney PIXAR’s hit film “Brave.” Rated PG and featuring the voices of Emma Thompson and Kelly Mcdonald, “Brave” was released in June of 2012. Patrons are invited to bring their lunch or a snack and enjoy this child-friendly film. All library programs are free and open to the public, but patrons are asked to pre-register for this program. Adult Summer Reading Bingo at the Talbot Library
All day, every day, July 1 – August 31, patrons are invited to play Reading Bingo at both the Easton and St. Michaels branches of the Talbot County Free Library. By keeping track of their reading habits, patrons can easily complete numerable library BINGO cards, entering them to win a weekly prize or one of two grand prize “Staycation” packages (one awarded at each branch) courtesy of area merchants.
