VACATIONS TO BE AUCTIONED AT TALISMAN EVENT
Maine, Canada and Aruba will be calling to the guests at the Harvest Moon Ball on November 1, benefiting Talisman Therapeutic Riding, to vacation in the most picturesque, fun-filled spots those venues have to offer. Each location is perfect for those bidders who love water sports and other outdoor activities or just a want to enjoy the magnificent sunsets.
The cabin in Maine is located on Norway Lake in Central Maine and will accommodate up to 8 guests. It’s within a day’s drive, so it’s a perfect opportunity to pull a boat and tie up at the dock right outside the door to enjoy swimming and see the scenery from the water. The loons and eagles will vie for attention as guests sit on the porch overlooking the water and enjoy the spectacular sunsets.
The Canadian shores of fresh water Lake Huron will be the destination for the winning bid for the Canadian vacation. The four bedroom cabin with its oversized fireplace in the great room and recently redone landscaping sleeps 9 but has room for 2 more in the adjacent bunkhouse. Guests can take the 2 minute walk to spend the day at the sandy beach or go play a round of golf at one of the 3 nearby golf courses. For dinner Port Elgin will be the place to be for dinner at one of the many charming restaurants.
Aruba, home of some of the world’s most beautiful beaches, will be the destination for the winner of the Caribbean vacation. Guests will enjoy a modern Oceanside condominium with all the amenities and sleeps six. Visitors can spend the day at the beach, take an ATV or motorcycle tour of the island or visit the aloe museum and factory. Highly Zagat-rated restaurants on the 19 mile long island offer guests many choices for dinner.
