Vicki Paulas, the Restoration Manager for the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center was appointed to July 29 to the Queen Anne’s County Economic Development Commission.

She is filing the unexpired term of Jim Moran who resigned his seat in order to serve on the county’s planning commission. Ms. Paulas’ term will run through December 31, 2013. Her appointment was recommended by the EDC and approved by the county commissioners.

According to her resume, Ms. Paulas has been teaching innovative environmental education programs for the last 17 years in Pennsylvania and Maryland and she uses her background in conservation, education and tourism to promote stewardship and sustainability.
