Q: Which organizations do you volunteer for?
A: I work with the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council in Centreville, and as a member there for the past 2 years, I assist with special events and concerts that are sponsored by the Council. I am also involved with the QAC Historical Society, and am a member of the Price Community Club, where I offer to help with social gatherings such as oyster dinners and holiday events. In the past, I have also helped with the Taste of Kent Narrows event, and am a past member of the Kent Island Federation of the Arts.
Q: What do you find particularly rewarding about volunteering?
A: I get to make new friends as I participate in various events. I enjoy the opportunity to meet and greet new people in our wonderful community.

A: 17 years.

Price Community Club
The Club organizes many annual events including Ham and Oyster dinners, chicken salad dinners to go, Halloween parties, craft shows, zumba classes and fund raisers. The community center is available as a venue and can be rented for family dinners, birthday celebrations, meetings, and other events, etc. The Price Community Club building is located at 121 Rabbit Hill Road in Church Hill.
