Deandra Walker has been promoted to Patient Account Manager in the Revenue Cycle Operations department of Shore Health System. In this role she manages the daily operations of the billing function, interacting with patients, insurance companies and other third party payers to ensure the most efficient and timely payment for services provided at The Memorial Hospital at Easton, Dorchester General Hospital and outpatient service facilities around the region.

Walker, who lives in Hurlock, joined Shore Health System in 2000. Her experience in patient financial services includes work as a patient accounting representative, supervisor of patient accounts and senior system analyst.

A graduate of Colonel Richardson High School in Federalsburg, Walker is a Certified Patient Account Technician. She is a member of the Maryland Association of Healthcare Administrative Management.
