Queen Anne’s County Free Library welcomes the ZOOmobile from the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore on Tuesday, July 10, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kent Island Branch and at 2:15 p.m. at the Centreville Branch.
“Night Shift” is a program about nocturnal animals for children ages 6-12. The zoo visit is part of the library’s “Dream Big—READ!” summer reading club.
When the sun sets, “night shift” animals come on duty! Children will learn about special senses that allow these animals to navigate in the dark, test their own nocturnal sensory skills, and meet Zoo creatures of the night.
The program is free of charge. No registration is required, but space is limited to the first 100 people to arrive at the Kent Island Branch and the first 75 at the Centreville Branch. No food or drinks will be permitted in the meeting room for this program.
