ZÜMBINI™ OFFERED AT CENTRE FOR THE ARTS

Meg-Yoast-Zumbini zumbiniZÜMBINI™ OFFERED AT CENTRE FOR THE ARTS

Queen Anne’s County Centre for the Arts is again offering Zumbini™ Dance Fitness for kids this spring. The program—designed for infants ages 0 to 5 and their caregivers—is a merger of child-science development and the magic of the popular Zumba dance program.

These 45 minute classes take the first steps toward a healthy, active life by pairing adults and young children to wiggle, sing and learn via the bonding experience. Activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences that are developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers to participate in regardless of their own musical ability. Zumbini is an excellent program for not only the kids and moms, but also for dads, grandparents, other relatives and caregivers who would like to bond with a child.  Instructor Meg Yoast holds a BFA in Dance Education from Towson University and is a member of and certified by Dance Masters of America.

Sign up for a four-week session beginning Wednesday February 10 through April 27 from 10 to 10:45 am. $50 ($45 members) per session.  Ages 0-5. Note: Registration deadlines are one week prior to class start. Session 1: Feb 10-Mar 2, Session 2: Mar 9-30, Session 3: Apr 6-27.
