Quinnworks’ Inc. Commitment to Quality and Integrity Makes Them Stand Out

“I can’t believe it’s the same place.” “Our deck looks like a piece of fine furniture.” “I had you back because I can trust you.” “We are extremely pleased with the quality and expertise of your work.” These are among the many testimonials Quinnworks Inc. of Centreville has received from their satisfied customers.

Quinnworks offers an array of construction services from building new houses and digging footers to creating decks and additions. Founder Jeff Quinn’s commitment to excellence and personal values is at the core of the company’s philosophy making them a standout in the industry. “We do everything. If we can’t do it, we will find someone reliable who can,” says Jeff, noting that they have used many of the same subcontractors for 25 years.

Jeff advises homeowners to be sure any contractor they consider is licensed and insured and is willing to make recommendations and suggestions for the proposed project. He said after an hour of meeting with a client, discussing options and exchanging ideas, they eventually say “eureka” and settle on the ideal plan. He feels that his company’s emphasis on communication ensures better results and overall customer satisfaction. “Some job sites look like an open dump,” he exclaims. “We clean up our job sites daily and welcome clients at anytime to inspect the progress.”

As the regional distributor of Sunair Awnings and Solar Screens, Quinnworks installs custom made awnings, retractable screens, canopies and window shades for commercial and residential customers. “I chose the best product,” says Jeff of Sunair. The 125-year-old company, which originated in Sweden, is now located in Jessup, Maryland. According to Jeff, their superior products feature forged aluminum- instead of cast which tends to have air pockets, stainless steel cables, all aluminum roller tubes that won’t rust or corrode, and two-way flex arms for better wind management.

The awning units, available with manual or motorized controls, come in nine stock frame colors or can be custom colored and sized to fit any area. Jeff says temperatures are on average 20% cooler under awnings than in the direct sun- some models offer protection and insulation during the cold weather. A variety of design possibilities include roof mount systems for low areas, solharos sun room and conservatory shades and automatic screen porch options that can block the sun and keep out insects.

With the current economic woes and increasing gas prices, Jeff sees a trend among consumers to stay home and beautify their surroundings. “People have to enjoy life. If they feel they can’t spend $15,000 to go on a trip maybe they can spend $3,000 to add an awning which will further the use of their deck and realize utility savings in the process,” he suggests.

Serving the Eastern shore of Maryland since 1987, Quinnworks has established an outstanding reputation as a quality builder and remodeler among homeowners in the region. The firm prides themselves on providing clients with prompt communications, quality craftsmanship and accountability through all phases of the building, renovating or remodeling process.
